Prayer

"They all joined together constantly in prayer" Acts1:14 Prayer is vital to everything we do as a church. We ask and encourage those who call PBC their spiritual home to be committed to growing in prayer. The foundation of our corporate prayer activity is our regular prayer and worship meetings where we pray for PBC, our community, our own country and other nations. We have prayer gatherings before our Sunday services and a weekly prayer meeting on Monday mornings. There are also various other annual prayer events and opportunities to pray which will be promoted from time to time at church or on our website events calendar.

Sundays at 9.30am

Join us in the Prayer Room to seek and call on God's blessing and Holy Spirit power before each of our services.

Mondays at 11.00am

We meet on Monday mornings at 11.00am in the Church Foyer to come before the Lord in prayer, worship and supplication in an unstructured meeting focussing on PBC's needs. All are welcome.

Tuesday at 8pm - monthly every first Tuesday
We meet on every first Tuesday evening on a monthly basis for a Church prayer meeting.  It starts at 8pm.  All are welcome.
Prayer ministry

Prayer ministry is available after every service. The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and be available to pray for people needing prayer support. By being open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory.

News & Announcements

Seeking His Face - 8-9pm every Wednesday

Rob Smith is opening the church for an hour every Wednesday evening from 8pm - 9pm to enable us to 'seek God's face' informally.  1 Chronicles 7:14 advises us, 'if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'  All are welcome to join in this search for God's presence in turning to Him.

Harvest Celebration and Frugal Lunch - Sunday 20th October

PBC are holding their Harvest Celebration starting at 10am on Sunday 20th October.  You can donate food for the Community Larder, money to support those in war torn Sudan who are still suffering and worship God in this all age service.  Following the service, you can stop for a frugal lunch, a bowl of soup, bread and some other nibbles to remember those who don't have the resources that we do.  All are welcome so do come along and share in this Harvest Celebration with everyone.
