Small Groups

Small Groups are a great way to meet people, make friends and grow in your relationship with Jesus. Small Groups are at the heart of our church; Sundays are when the Small Groups come together. As PBC grew, we soon discovered that Sundays are too big to provide deep friendship. Small Groups are perfect for this.

You are welcome to visit two or three groups before deciding which one you prefer as they all vary. Our desire is that Small Groups become a place where many people experience the goodness of God and the friendship of His people. Small Groups also reach out through social action and relationships - they`re not holy huddles!

Please do contact Daph Beard, our Small Group Ministry Leader on 01892 824329, if you have any questions and she will be glad to help. Alternatively, please call the office on 01892 825590.

We also encourage all Small Groups to engage in activities and projects, if they can. Small Group leaders needing more information can be found here or by phoning Helen Nevison on 01892 825590

Our small groups are:

Petersfield, held now in Batchelors, Pembury on a Thursday evening fortnightly.

Day Time, held on Friday mornings during term time, sometimes at a home in Pembury, sometimes in a lounge on the church premises.

There are new groups, the Leighs and the Bentleys, one in Pembury, one in Tonbridge.  More information is available from Daph Beard, details as above.
